1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing jais-summit.com (the "Website"), registering to attend, or participating in any Jordan AI Summit 2026 (JAIS 2026) event (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"), our Privacy Policy, and our Cookie Policy.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement under Jordan Electronic Transactions Law No. 15/2015, Articles 5 and 13, which grants electronic contracts the same legal force as written contracts signed in person. If you do not agree, you must immediately cease use of the Website and Services.

3. Eligibility
To use the Services you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age, or have verifiable parental/guardian consent if between 14–17 years (Jordan Juvenile Law No. 32/2014);
- Have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts under applicable law;
- Not be subject to sanctions, export controls, or restrictions that prohibit your participation;
- Provide accurate and complete registration information.
JAIS reserves the right to verify eligibility and deny access at its sole discretion.
4. Registration & Tickets
4.1 Account Accuracy
You agree to provide truthful, current, and complete information during registration. Misrepresentation may result in immediate cancellation of your registration without refund, and may constitute a violation of Jordan Cybercrime Law No. 17/2023, Article 3 (fraudulent use of information systems).

4.3 Confirmation
Registration is complete only upon receipt of a confirmation email. JAIS is not liable for registrations lost due to technical failures outside its reasonable control, consistent with Electronic Transactions Law Art. 22 (electronic message receipt and acknowledgment).
5. Code of Conduct
JAIS 2026 is dedicated to providing a harassment-free experience for all participants. You agree not to:
- Engage in harassment, bullying, discrimination, or intimidation based on gender, race, religion, nationality, disability, age, or any other protected characteristic;
- Distribute spam, unsolicited marketing, or commercial materials without prior written approval;
- Disrupt presentations, panels, or official activities;
- Engage in any conduct that violates Jordan Penal Code or any applicable law;
- Attempt to circumvent security measures or gain unauthorised access to any system, in violation of Cybercrime Law No. 17/2023, Article 4;
- Impersonate any person, organisation, or entity.
Consequence: Violations may result in immediate removal from the event, permanent ban from future JAIS events, and referral to Jordanian authorities where applicable.
6. Intellectual Property
6.1 JAIS Content
All Website content—including text, graphics, logos, presentation materials, session recordings, and software—is owned by or licensed to JAIS and is protected under Jordan Copyright Law No. 22/1992 (as amended) and international treaties including the Berne Convention. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or create derivative works without express written consent.
6.2 Speaker & Sponsor Content
Speakers and sponsors retain ownership of their submitted materials. By submitting content, they grant JAIS a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, display, and archive such content for event purposes and post-event promotion.
6.3 Trademarks
"Jordan AI Summit," "JAIS," and associated logos are trademarks of the organising committee. Unauthorised use is prohibited.
7. User-Generated Content
If you submit comments, questions, social media posts tagged with official event hashtags, or other content related to JAIS, you grant us a licence to reproduce and share that content for promotional purposes. You represent that you own the rights to such content and that it does not violate any third-party rights or applicable law.
We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or applicable law, including content that violates the Cybercrime Law No. 17/2023 (e.g., defamatory, obscene, or privacy-invasive content).
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Jordanian law:
- JAIS is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Services;
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for your registration ticket;
- We do not warrant that the Website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or harmful components;
- We are not responsible for content presented by speakers, exhibitors, or third-party vendors.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless JAIS and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and partners from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or related to:
- Your breach of these Terms;
- Your violation of any applicable law or third-party rights;
- Your use of the Services in an unauthorised or unlawful manner.
10. Cancellation & Refunds
Under Jordan Consumer Protection Law No. 7/2017, consumers have certain rights regarding cancellation of services. Our policy is:

Event Cancellation by JAIS: If JAIS cancels the event entirely due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control (force majeure, government directive, etc.), registered attendees will receive a full refund or credit toward a future event.
10.1 Force Majeure
JAIS shall not be in breach of these Terms if prevented from performing its obligations due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including acts of God, war, terrorism, pandemic, government restrictions, or natural disasters, consistent with Jordan Civil Code Art. 217.
11. Photography & Recordings
JAIS 2026 will be photographed and recorded for event documentation, promotional, and archival purposes. By attending:
- You consent to being captured in event photography and video recordings;
- You grant JAIS a perpetual, royalty-free licence to use your likeness in event-related materials;
- Media and press representatives must wear visible press credentials at all times;
- Individual attendees wishing to opt out of photography must notify JAIS in writing at least 7 days before the event.
This consent is given in accordance with Jordan Personal Data Protection Law No. 24/2023, Article 7, which requires consent for the processing of biometric and photographic data.
12. Third-Party Links
The Website may contain links to third-party websites or services. JAIS does not endorse and is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of such third parties. Access to third-party sites is at your own risk.
13. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify registered users via email and by posting a notice on the Website at least 14 days before material changes take effect, consistent with consumer protection best practices under Jordan Consumer Protection Law No. 7/2017, Article 12. Continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
14.1 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, including but not limited to:
- Electronic Transactions Law No. 15/2015
- Consumer Protection Law No. 7/2017
- Jordan Civil Code (Law No. 43/1976)
- Jordan Copyright Law No. 22/1992
14.2 Dispute Resolution
Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms shall be resolved as follows:
- Negotiation: Parties shall first attempt in good faith to resolve any dispute through direct negotiation within 30 days of written notice.
- Mediation: Unresolved disputes shall be submitted to mediation under the Jordan Mediation and Conciliation Centre.
- Litigation: If mediation fails, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Amman, Jordan.
Nothing prevents either party from seeking emergency injunctive relief from a court of competent jurisdiction.
